Applications
Overview
A 200 W mercury lamp feeds flexible light guides that deliver up to 4,000 mW/cm² exactly where the adhesive needs to cure. Light guides split into up to four branches, so one unit can cure several points at once, and can be routed over longer distances into fixtures and machines.
The lamp's broad spectrum provides the 365 nm needed for curing as well as shorter UV wavelengths, which cure the surface quickly and leave it tack-free. Automatic intensity correction compensates as the lamp ages, keeping the dose stable from part to part.
A customised lamp driver shortens the warm-up time, forced ventilation extends lamp life, and the lamp can be replaced quickly when it reaches the end of its service life.

Lamp spot systems bond and harden UV-curing adhesives where a broad spectrum and a tack-free surface matter, including on temperature-sensitive materials.
