Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., United States. Pages and images are delivered through Netlify's content delivery network (CDN), which serves each request from a server close to you. This means your request may be handled by a server outside the European Union.

Whenever you open a page, your browser sends technical information that Netlify records in server logs:

  • your IP address
  • the date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested and the response status
  • the referring page, if your browser sends it
  • your browser type and operating system (user agent)

Purpose: to deliver the website, keep it secure and stable, and detect and prevent abuse.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention: Netlify keeps these logs for a short period set by Netlify, after which they are deleted. We do not combine them with other data or use them to identify visitors.

Netlify processes this data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement.

Inquiries through the contact form

When you send an Inquiry through our contact form, we collect:

  • your name
  • your company
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • your country
  • the Product you are interested in
  • your message

The form is processed by Netlify Forms. Netlify stores the submission in our Netlify account, together with technical data such as the time of submission, and screens it for spam. The form also contains a hidden field that only automated spam bots fill in.

Purpose: to answer your Inquiry, advise you on suitable equipment, prepare a quotation and follow up on it.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients: Netlify sends each Inquiry by email to our Sales Contacts at HuNan Create E-commerce Co., Ltd. Their mailboxes are run by an email service provider, currently Google. Where your Inquiry raises a technical question, we may share the relevant details with the Manufacturer, Awellcure Shanghai UV Group Co., Ltd., so that it can answer.

Retention: we delete submissions from Netlify within six months. We keep the emails and any resulting correspondence for as long as we need them to handle your Inquiry and any business relationship that follows, and delete them no later than two years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer, for example for tax records.

You do not have to send us an Inquiry, but we cannot answer you without your contact details.

Transfers outside the European Union

Your data is transferred to countries outside the European Union:

  • United States: Netlify is based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in Netlify's data processing agreement and, where applicable, by Netlify's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • China: our Sales Contacts and the Manufacturer are based in China, for which there is no adequacy decision. We transfer your Inquiry to them because this is necessary to answer the Inquiry you sent us (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR).

You can ask us for more information about these safeguards using the contact details above.

Analytics without cookies

To understand how the website is used, we may use Plausible Analytics, provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia, with data stored in the European Union. Plausible is designed to work without cookies and without collecting personal data:

  • it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device
  • it does not track you across websites or over time
  • your IP address is used only to derive an anonymous daily identifier and the country you visit from, and is not stored

We see only aggregated figures such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, the referring websites, and the countries, device types and browsers of visitors.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics runs only when we have switched it on. While it is switched off, no analytics script is loaded and no request is sent to Plausible.

Fonts

All fonts are hosted on our own website. Your browser does not request fonts from Google Fonts or any other third party.

Theme preference

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so that the website remembers it on your next visit. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not used for tracking. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. See our cookie policy for details.

Links to other websites

Our website links to our profiles on LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and X. These are plain links: no data is sent to those platforms until you click one. Once you do, the privacy policy of the respective platform applies.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not create profiles.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16)
  • erasure of your data (Article 17)
  • restriction of processing (Article 18)
  • data portability, receiving your data in a structured, machine-readable format (Article 20)
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21)

To exercise any of these rights, email one of our Sales Contacts listed above. We will answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
