Applications

Overview

A rectangular 30 × 50 mm field at up to 5,000 mW/cm² covers small assemblies, flex circuits and multi-part fixtures in a single exposure.

It keeps the high irradiance of the smallest head while covering a wider field, so short cure times are possible on slightly larger parts.

Each system pairs the AF3050H1 irradiator head with a controller that sets irradiance, exposure time and step programmes. Because the LEDs switch on instantly and emit no infrared, the head cures exactly when the part is in place and leaves heat-sensitive substrates unaffected.

Typical applications

Compact heads suit bonding, sealing and encapsulating individual components in microelectronics, optics and optical fibre communication, and assembling medical devices.

Key features

  • Instant on and off, with no warm-up phase or shutter
  • No infrared radiation, so heat-sensitive materials stay cool
  • Irradiance adjustable from 10 to 100 %
  • Manual, timed, step and pulse irradiation modes
  • Start from the touch screen, a foot pedal, RS232 or a PLC
  • Status outputs for start, stop, running and alarm
  • One controller can drive several irradiator heads
  • LEDs rated for 20,000 hours at 80 % power
