Four independent curing points, set up and monitored from a colour touch screen. Each LED head focuses its output through an aspherical lens onto a spot as small as 2 mm, curing adhesives in seconds exactly where they are dispensed, while the rest of the part stays cool.
The screen shows mode, intensity, exposure time and head temperature for every channel at a glance. For automated cells, a PLC, PC or MCU can take over through the I/O terminal and RS232 port. Where bench space is tight, a compact version with a smaller touch screen and a button for each channel is also available.
Spot curing is the standard process for bonding lenses and camera modules, fixing connectors and coils in electronics assembly, and bonding needles and catheters in medical device manufacturing. It is also used in stereolithography, decorating and graphic arts.
