Applications

Overview

The M2000 combines a handheld display unit with a separate round probe on a cable. Place the probe where the part sits, under a spot head, an area head or inside a curing oven, and read peak irradiance, instantaneous irradiance and accumulated dose on the display.

The probe is specified for one of three spectral bands, centred on 365, 405 or 450 nm, so you can match the meter to your UV LED source. The M3000 offers the same measuring range in a one-piece puck housing.

Typical applications

Use the M2000 to set up and check UV LED spot and area curing stations, compare irradiance between heads and record measured dose for process documentation in adhesive bonding, coating and printing.

Key features

  • Records peak irradiance, instantaneous irradiance and accumulated dose
  • Separate probe reaches into spot, area and oven systems
  • Sensors for 365, 405 or 450 nm sources
  • Withstands up to 110 °C for 10 seconds of continuous exposure
  • Runs on three AAA batteries
  • Switches off automatically after 60 seconds without a signal
