Overview
This benchtop conveyor uses a 3 kW mercury lamp instead of UV LEDs. Its broadband output from 200 to 450 nm, peaking at 365 nm, suits UV adhesives, inks, varnishes, paints and coatings formulated for mercury lamps. Parts travel on a 400 mm PTFE belt through a 300 mm long curing zone, with shaded sections on both sides that keep stray UV inside the tunnel.
The operating panel carries an ammeter and hour meter for the lamp, a lamp switch and a belt speed controller for 1 to 10 m/min. A fan above the lamp housing removes heat, and the inlet height adjusts from 0 to 100 mm to suit the parts.
Typical applications
Curing UV adhesives, inks, varnishes, paints and coatings in optical communication, photovoltaics, medical devices, consumer electronics and PCB assembly, on optical parts and displays, and in materials laboratories.
