Applications

Overview

The smallest oven in the range puts a 100 × 100 mm UV LED head above a 210 × 190 × 180 mm chamber. Place parts through the 180 × 180 mm door, close it and the batch cures with the operator fully shielded. If the door is opened during exposure, the oven raises an alarm.

The controller sets irradiance, exposure time and step programmes, and accepts start signals from a foot pedal, RS232 or a PLC. Because the LEDs switch on instantly and emit no infrared, curing starts without warm-up and heat-sensitive parts stay cool.

Typical applications

Curing adhesive samples and small parts in microelectronics, optics and optical fibre communication, bonding medical device components, and testing UV adhesives, coatings and inks in the laboratory.
