Applications

Overview

The AO04 is a low, flat oven for parts that lie on a tray. A 150 × 150 mm UV LED head sits above a 300 × 300 × 80 mm pull-out drawer: push the drawer in and the LEDs switch on for the set time, pull it out and they switch off. The housing measures 400 × 400 × 130 mm and weighs 5 kg, so it fits on any workbench.

The controller sets irradiance, exposure time and step programmes, and accepts start signals from a foot pedal, RS232 or a PLC. Because the LEDs switch on instantly and emit no infrared, curing starts without warm-up and heat-sensitive parts stay cool.

Typical applications

Curing adhesives, coatings and inks on flat parts and panels, such as printed circuit boards, optical components, fibre optic assemblies, medical device parts and printed samples.
