Applications

Overview

The M4100 is the standard edition of the online UV radiometers. A small sensor faces the UV light source and a separate body converts the signal, reporting irradiance and temperature at the test point ten times a second over RS485. A PLC or PC on the line reads the values directly, so a falling LED output is detected without stopping production.

The M4100 is designed for UV LED sources and is not suited to high-temperature environments. If the sensor stays in the UV beam or near heat for long periods it ages faster or can be damaged, so protect it accordingly. For mercury lamps, an on-board display and alarm outputs, choose the M4200.

Typical applications

Inline monitoring of UV LED curing stations on automated assembly lines, for example in electronics assembly and adhesive bonding, with the readings logged by the line controller.
